This browser is enough

CBT on your phone or laptop

Computer Based Testing (CBT) runs in Safari, Chrome, or Edge. iPhone and Android users should stay in the browser they already have — or add the site to the Home Screen. A Chrome add-on is only for computer labs.

1. Stay in this browser

Sign in here. No download. This is the right path for most students, including Apple and Android phones.

2. Add to Home Screen (optional)

Gives you an icon and a dedicated window. Same login as the website.

  • iPhone / iPad: Share (square with arrow) → Add to Home Screen → open the new icon.
  • Android (Chrome): menu → Install app or Add to Home screen.
  • Laptop (Chrome or Edge): install icon in the address bar, or the button below when your browser offers it.

3. Computer labs only (Chrome / Edge add-on)

Not for phones. Staff can load this once on lab PCs if they want a toolbar icon. Students on Apple or Android should skip this.

Download lab add-on (.zip)
  1. Unzip the file and keep the folder.
  2. Open chrome://extensions or edge://extensions.
  3. Turn on Developer mode.
  4. Click Load unpacked and choose the unzipped cbt-browser folder.
  5. Pin CBT Browser on the toolbar.

This does not replace your password. Sign in with the same username, email, or student ID as usual. The site still allows only one signed-in session per account.
